Bone is the body's most underestimated organ. It makes blood, instructs immunity, and in disease becomes the place where cancer is hardest to reach. Understanding how that happens at the cellular and molecular level, is our work.

Clinical translation of the OssiGel bone graft technology
Dhalion Biotech AB is the lab's spin-off company, co-founded by Paul Bourgine to bring the OssiGel bone matrix technology toward clinical application. It is the translational arm of the lab's regenerative graft research, addressing the reconstruction of large bone defects.
