How can I apply for a PhD or postdoctoral position in the lab?

We regularly welcome motivated candidates with backgrounds in stem cell biology, biomaterials, immunology, computational biology or clinical research. Open positions are posted in the News section. Prospective applicants are encouraged to reach out through the Lund University staff directory with a brief statement of interest and a CV. Unsolicited applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

What is the humanised ossicle platform and how does it work?

Accepted Answer

Humanised ossicles are engineered constructs — seeded with human bone marrow stromal cells and implanted subcutaneously — that develop into authentic human bone marrow niches in vivo. They can be colonised with patient-derived cells, including leukemic stem cells, enabling disease modelling, drug testing and niche biology experiments in a fully humanised microenvironment.

Do you collaborate with clinical partners or industry?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The lab maintains active collaborations with clinical haematologists at Skåne University Hospital, the Lund University Cancer Centre and international academic partners. We are open to discussing co-development opportunities for our bone graft and ossicle platforms with industry stakeholders — please use the contact form above.
