TERMIS-EU Meeting in Palma de Mallorca
In the beautiful Palma de Mallorca, Paul and Camille had the chance to present the diverse projects carried out in the lab during the TERMIS-EU meeting. This was also an opportunity to meet the BuonMarrow Pathfinder team, which we will very soon host in Lund for the Consortium annual meeting!

Science to School 2026 — Filbornaskolan
Sara and Laura took part in Science to School 2026, meeting pupils at Filbornaskolan in Helsingborg. They first introduced stem cells to them and tested what they learnt with a quiz. They also discussed about their own journey in science and what they are doing in their current projects. Lastly, the pupils could handle some cell culture lab material, and they could even try to inject some microfluidic chips!

Elia's Presentation at WCMM Research Day 2026
Elia gave a presentation of his joint work with Camille on the bone marrow-on-a-chip developed for the BuonMarrow Consortium project during the WCMM Research Day 2026. Sara also contributed to the organization of this successful event!

UniStem Day 2026 Workshop
On March 20th, Camille, Sara and Elia organized a workshop as part of UniStem Day 2026. The objective was to teach high school students how to inject the microfluidic platforms used in the lab. The three groups of students showed high interest in the activity, and they all did a great job!

Laura's Presentation at WCMM Friday Club
Laura presented her work during the WCMM Friday Club. She introduced her project on the role of the human bone marrow niche in dendritic cell regulation and its implications for AML immunotherapy. Good job Laura!

David's Presentation at Matrix Seminar Series
David presented his project during the Matrix Seminar Series organized at BMC. The title of his presentation was: 'Single-cell multiomic dissection of early endochondral ossification in human BM-MSCs'.
